Ryan A3 Art 6

A3 is finishing up some gridded work sheets and ALSO moving on to the next stage in the project!
\Students achieve high levels of accuracy when using the gridding technique. Look at those tiger stripes!
Students had to grid the photograph they researched and printed out. This practiced those RULER skills that some students are a little weak on.
A finished worksheet- it's the stub hub ticket tree!
Team work is a great way to make sure your paper doesn't wiggle!

Kluender Art 8

Art 8 will be printing next week! Bring in any interesting backgrounds you'd like to print on....Even a "placemat" paper can be awesome!

Students ink their linoleum block using a brayer.....

One down.....three to go....

Kluender Art 8

Art 8 has been carving linoleum blocks. Now that we're done carving, we're preparing for printing next week!
One of the printing assignments is to print on a painted background. Students are painting a four-block design using a palette of 3 colors +white.

This is what the painting looks like before we print on it.

Kluender Art 8

We are starting to carve today! Any student without a permission firm will be assigned an alternate project as carving can be dangerous...
