Art 8 students are beginning to add magazine mosaic tiles to the backgrounds of their can drawings!

Kluender B3 art 8

Students are beginning to add color to their can drawings. They are using their colored pencil skills to create shading in color!

Students are learning to draw using their eyes instead of their brain to sharpen those observational drawing skills!

Magazine pieces will be added to the background like mosiac tiles!

Art 8 students are using observation skills to draw cans in Art 8. Some students have even challenged themselves to draw crushed cans! The wrinkles make the lettering bend and fold, adding more interest.

 

Students will apply the colored pencils skills they learned by completing the color wheel on their can drawings.

Art 8 students have completed their color wheels and are ready to begin their can drawings!

Kluender A3 Art 8

Art 8 students learned all about mixing and blending colored pencils. We learned how to make tertiary colors, tints, shades and neutrals. These skills will be applied to drawings of cans!
