Kluender Computer Art 78
Here are some examples of weekly journal #6...Students created a piece of artwork using a silhouette! We will be starting a "Selfie Silhouette" project very soon in class...
Many students are finishing up their DIGITAL KALEIDOSCOPES! What an amazing job they've done! Students took a photo and applied filters and image adjustments using Photoshop CS2. Then, they copied and flipped it four times! We printed it twice and mounted them!
Dont these kaleidoscopes look great?!?! Do you recognize any of the original images?
Hint....These two are animals....

CA 78 students used the idea of a kaleidoscope for their Weekly Journal (#3). We are currently working on a name kaleidoscope design in class.
Even though they were all given the same directions, the results were varied. This is a good reminder that even though we all get the same set of directions for the digital assignments, that students can make it their own unique piece of artwork by being creative and including bits of their personality.
Our next digital project will be a photo kaleidoscope!

Computer Art students are currently working on two projects.
The studio project is a kaleidoscope name design. Those who are done are working on catching up their ARt History Journals or their Artsy Alphabet semester project.
Look at this beautiful coloring job! :)
For the digital project, students are using two images of celebrities to alter in Photoshop. These will late be used to create a 3D accordion artwork!

Students are altering two celebrity photos in preparation for the next digital artwork!
We have a lot of different things going on at once in Computer Art class....students have to be organized, motivated and stay on task to get it all done on time!
