Exploratory Ryan

After completing their weaving, students then created Op Art shapes to place on top of their weaving.
Here a student is completing his Op Art Sphere.
And here you can see a collection of spheres and cubes!
A completed piece, being graded by the artist. Self-reflection and critique is an important skill for students.
We have some MAJOR op art shapes going on here!

Exploratory Ryan

Here we have our lovely students working hard on an Op Art project.
Using one point perspective students were able to to create the ILLUSION of depth with their weavings.
Here you can see students snipping their loom, weaving and completed. It involved measuring, perspective, and some real hard thinking!

Kluender B4 art 78

Art 78 students learned all about Op Art! We are creating a self portrait with an Op Art background and spheres!

Students have to be neat and pay attention when using Sharpies...there is little room for mistakes in a project like this. Good thing they're focused and working hard! :)
