Exploratory Ryan

Here we have our lovely students working hard on an Op Art project.
Using one point perspective students were able to to create the ILLUSION of depth with their weavings.
Here you can see students snipping their loom, weaving and completed. It involved measuring, perspective, and some real hard thinking!

Art 6 Ryan B4

Students are practicing their patterning skills. We will eventually be using this to fill in our castles.

Computer Art 78 has started their semester project, the Forensic Fingerprints. 
 They're also learning about Adobe Photoshop CS2 and how to apply filters to a photo!

 Art 8's weekly journal was to create a creature based on a Surrealist game called Exquisite Corpse....Boy, were there some creative results!

My A2 and A4 Art 78 classes are doing SO GOOD!!!! We learned how to create the illusion of depth using 2 point perspective. We're using those awesome skills to draw a stack of legos. Then, we're learning about hue, tint and shade using prismacolors to add color!
